Duluth Trip - Enger Tower

After we left Jay Cooke we went and got checked in to our hotel and then went down to Canal Park.  It was pretty hot in the sun so we did some shopping and checked out the cute little shops before getting a tasty fish supper.

After supper we drove up to Enger Tower to enjoy the gardens and views.

It was a beautiful evening to enjoy the sunset :)

Duluth Trip - Jay Cooke State Park

Sometimes all a person has time for is a short overnight trip, so that is what my friend Grace and I did!  The morning of July 12th we took off for Duluth, MN.  Our first stop was Jay Cooke State Park.  I had been there before, but Grace had not.  It is a beautiful park and we enjoyed a picnic lunch along the river and then did some walking around.
