Duluth Trip - Leif Erikson Rose Garden

Very long overdue here is the last part of this mini blog series!  After coming back from Amnicon Falls we got a tasty sandwich for lunch at the Great Harvest Bread Co. and then went for a walk at the rose garden. 

 

Found a spot in the shade :)

Made one last stop at Norway Beach by Cass Lake on the way home and dipped our toes in the water to cool off.

 

It was a lovely little get away with a dear friend!  Can't wait for our next adventure!

Duluth Trip - Amnicon Falls State Park Wisconsin

The next morning we ventured across in to Wisconsin about a half an hour to go to Amnicon Falls State Park.  There were only a couple cars in the parking lot when we got there, it was nice to be somewhere away from the tourist crowds! ;)

It was so fun getting to walk right down close by the water.

 

It was a nice relaxing morning walking by the river and falls, the bugs weren't even bad or anything! :)  I'd definitely go back to this park and look around some more.
