Today we had a shorter day of travel and we arrived in Gulf Shores mid afternoon. It was enjoyable seeing some new scenery in Alabama. There was a wide variety of trees and lots of rivers and creeks. The pine trees reminded me of home.

It is so fun to see a different part of the country and experience new things. For now though I'm looking forward to getting a good night's sleep! Who knows what tomorrow will hold :)
